The Tassos® Extra Virgin Olive Oils are 100 percent estate bottled from the magnificent Mediterranean island of Crete. They are never, ever blended, and like all great olive oils are rooted in a healthy ecosystem. We cold press our extra virgin olive oils from carefully handpicked, unripe Koroneiki olives, which are legendary around the world for producing phenomenal oil that is as miraculous in its dense complexity of biological properties as it is in taste.
The deeply important phenolic content and antioxidant activity gives Tassos® Extra Virgin Olive Oils their subtle fresh-cut herb aroma and vivid green color on the palate. Our highly prized varietals have a well-balanced robust, fruity taste with hints of dried herb followed by a slightly peppery or radish heat finish.
